Dr. Abdullah Alismail recently published a study titled Advanced Practice Respiratory Therapy in the State of California: A Cross-Sectional Needs Assessment Study.
The research was part of a broader initiative examining the potential need for an Advanced Practice Respiratory Therapist (APRT) role within California.
The project evaluated perspectives surrounding the development of an advanced respiratory care profession and was supported by the Respiratory Care Board of California and the California Society for Respiratory Care.
